“Okay but not worth the price”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

We went to this restaurant with high expectations and left with lesser memories. The food is not terrible, but not great. I felt the restaurant is merely surviving on its reputation and seems to be an event place rather than a serious place for good food. Our waiter had a level of pretension that was almost Monty Python-esque. Odd for a place that aims so high but hits so low. They would do better to simplify their food instead of crowding 20 sourced ingredients into every dish. The entire service staff needs to go to a waiter bootcamp.

“Hostess was rude”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

Our waiter was wonderful and the food was okay (trying too hard tasted like cruise ship food). The hostess was cold and locals almost knocked us down coming in. No way to welcome out if town guest. I would not recommend this restaurant for the price.

“Outstanding and consistent”

Have made several visits to this restaurant and have always had an outstanding experience. Food is extremely fresh and innovative. Will return on a regular basis and highly recommend it to my fellow foodies.

“Sensational Dining in Denver”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Who would have thought that Denver would have a restaurant this good. It's world class and should not be missed, if you can snag a table. We were lucky. Friends had told us about Fruition and each time warned us how hard it is to get reservations. After arriving in Denver we took a chance and called; success. We got an early reservation. First, the service is excellent. Our waitress understood the menu thoroughly and, as a result, was able to give excellent recommendations. I ordered a rolled and stuffed bavette steak (which appeared to be a sort of hanger steak) with pieces of braised short ribs and truffled cauliflower; it was superb. My wife ordered fish, also superb. As an entrée we shared what Fruition called a corn salad that actually was a fried crepe filled with corn, fried quinoa grains, other delectables. Our shared dessert was the best lemon meringue pie I've ever had. I was blown away. I expect you will be too. Oh by the way, the wine list is excellent and has good selections at all price points.
