“Food was fine, service always rushed”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

The food was good, not great though. I've been there on 4 seperate occasions, and if we eat there it's always rushed. Even on Sunday brunch.

“nice surprise”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

loved the location, right across the street from the Ramada Inn Downtown that i was stayinig at. it seemd like a comfortable place with a friendly crowd and staff. it seemed very much a local bar , playing good music loudly ( not a great atmosphere for conversation, but i was alone, so it didn't matter. i was studying, actually, and it wasn't too loud for that)

i was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu, considering it was an Irish bar and restaurant. but it didn't seem to be too much an emphasis on Irish foods. really quite a variety to feed anyone that should come in. i do not at meat, and i had several good choices from which to pick; a meat-eater would have a hard time narrowing his options! i finally chose a casers salad and the penne with goat cheese and spinach, which was an excellent choice. it also came with garlic bread. the portions were not only quite tasty but ample as well.

i was comfortable sitting inside alone, although it was a busytime at the bar and a busy dinner crowd. but it was not too corwded that i had to hurry with my meal. indeed, i was comfortable ( and i asked the waitress, just to be sure i wasn't holding anything up) sitting a while by myself afterwards, reading there.

“Wonderful pub wonderful server”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

I have been in a few times now, and have always liked the food drinks and atmosphere. I was in today and my server, Ally, was amazing, I asked if she was new because I hadn't seen her before and she said it was one of her first shifts. She was polite, energetic, and always smiling. I could see her acting the same way towards her other guests. The service was awesome and she was attentive and helpful. This was refreshing because a lot of bars on Colfax have servers who are aloof and almost "annoyed" by the fact that they are serving people. The whole staff was wonderful and you could tell everyone was helping everyone with a smile on their faces. I will definatley be back. Great Staff, great food, and nicley priced drinks. The bartender was also very nice to us as well.

“Great Happy Hour”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

Stopped at the Snug and enjoyed two for one pints and had a delicious basket of Fish & Chips. Also had the Buffalo Waffle Fries. If you enjoy spicy appetizers I highly recommend these. Great bar atmosphere, service was very good, lots of flat screen TV's covering all your favorite sporting events and a good overall Irish feel. Would definetely visit again.

“Standard pub fare, friendly staff”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

Guiness was poured well, which is the first measure. Apart from that nothing outstanding, but good for a drink and standard pub grub.
