“the quietest hotel ever”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

We were in town for the Denver Bronco/Pittsburgh Steelers game. Booked this hotel because it was the "cheapest" place to stay in the Downtown area on a football weekend - WOW - what a great surprise - it's a really nice hotel !!! We arrived close to 1230pm - asked about checking early so we could head to the game - they said YES. (Thanks Sara - you made our day !!!) The rooms are large, very clean, very comfortable, and the QUIETEST hotel I've ever stayed. The pool and fitness center are great. The staff was generally nice - other than the girl at check in it appeared that everyone was "doing their job." The hotel is a short walk to 16th St Mall area - and you're note dodging a lot of bums/homeless/beggars like you are at other Downtown Denver hotels. A short walk up 17th Avenue you'll find some great local places for food/drink !!! I would say the only negative - breakfast - both mornings the were out of food - and the guests had to wait - that's unacceptable with a hotel that has high volume like this property - happened both mornings. The parking situation is confusing - there are lots nearby - that I found out after the fact I could have parked overnight for less - the hotel valet parking is expensive - and the front desk staff takes care of the car - the staff would leave the desk to park/retrieve car. This is really a great hotel - I was very pleasantly surprised - I would stay here again !!!!!!

We stayed her twice during our tour of Colorado in Aug-12. This hotel is without equal in our opinion and beat others costing 50% more, hands-down. Rooms were always clean and well equipped with good/free WIFI, plenty of hot water, good lighting, plenty of towels for four, a decent shower and firm mattresses with clean sheets.
Service was always impeccable and with a smile. Advice and guidance were easily forthcoming and accurate. Above all, everyone we saw who worked in the hotel was neat, tidy, friendly and courteous.
Breakfasts were varied with something for everyone's taste and good quality TV to watch while winding up or down plus a small selection of free newspapers.
We all enjoyed the very clean swimming pool and hot tub as well as the coffee/tea available in the lobby at all times.
A real treat and worth staying at if you want to be near the main attractions without spending the earth.
Well done!

I stayed here for four nights while attending a conference. It was awesome. The room was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. The free breakfast was yummy and there was good variety. The free wifi was fast and easy to use. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the pool area was well maintained and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for just one night after a trip in to the rockies,it was a good choice in a good location. It was a clean large room, and the pool and spa were very welcome after a long drive! We walked into and back from mall street and felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.

We could not have been happier with our hotel choice. The room was very large, clean and had everything we needed. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when we were in need of directions or suggestions. We had no problem with parking. There is a lot right across the street that cost us only $10 for a 24 hour period, and there was no problem with in/out privileges. The breakfast was outstanding! I used the laundry facilities during our visit. It was a clean and comfortable laundry room, and had a comfy chair to sit in while my clothes were spinning. We did not use the pool or exercise room, but both looked clean and nice. We were within walking distance of the downtown area, the 16th Street Mall, and Coors Field. We found a self-guided downtown walking tour in a Fodor's travel guide, and it gave you a real taste of downtown Denver. We would definitely stay here in the future. Great choice!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor to eliminate street noise during morning rush hour.

We recently stayed in Denver for 4 nights for a conference. This is a very nice location. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good. My only complaint would be the $20 parking fee. With empty lots all around them, I think they should explore working out a deal, which would be better for guests.

We stayed here for one night last month and found it to be ideal for everything we needed for our stay in Denver. The rooms were typical of this chain, large, well furnished with everything you need (fridge, coffee maker, bath products etc) and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was very plentiful and always well stocked, I appreciated the variety of hot and cold things available. It was the weekend so we were able to park on the street, but valet was available for your standard cost ($20ish). It had a good business centre and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The location could’ve been better for what we were doing, but it’s only a few blocks from one end of 16th Street so I guess it depends where you’re going as Denver is quite a big place. In all a decent and good value place for Denver Downtown.
