My first time staying at the Residence Inn and already planning my next stay. This Denver hotel has everything going for it. Great location a block or so from 16th Street Mall - central to everything. Rooms (suites) are spacious and well kept. The price of a room is very reasonable for a downtown hotel but especially because it is a quality hotel. The staff is to be commended for their friendliness and efficiency. Complimentary FULL breakfast is offered in the morning. Complimentary happy hour at night and free delicious dinners offered four weeknights a week. This hotel is perfect for business travelers but also perfect for those on vacation like myself. While the entire staff is top notch, I will single out Stewart who handles the setup for morning breakfast as doing things way beyond what would expect. If you need travel tips, ask Stewart. He even baked banana bread for one regular guest and then brought me a plate of it. He is a wonderfully friendly man who just keeps doing things for people. This hotel is great value

Perfect location if you are in the downtown Denver area. Walking distance to a variety of bars, restaurants and stores. 16th Street Mall is great, pedestrians only, with a free bus that travels the length of the mall. Our room was clean and very well stocked in the kitchen, even had a dishwasher & full size refridgerator. Bath was great but wish there had been bathrobes. Happy hour was a great touch. The breakfast was the typical hotel buffet and a convenient way to start the day.

Room Tip: I was told that the hot tub was removed and replaced by a fire pit. Hot tub still there, half full a...

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in Denver.

In regards to our hot tub, we are in the process of updating our hotel. Over the years we have received many requests to have a fire pit on our 8th floor patio. We are excited that this will be complete by the end of 2012. We hope you will come again to experience our newly renovated hotel when all is complete. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you so much for your feedback.

This hotel centrally located in Downtown Denver. Just a few blocks walk from the 16th street mall with abundant shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment. Running up and down the mall is a FREE bus that will take you across the entire downtown “fun” district. The only places that will require some effort to reach would be Pepsi Center and/or lower downtown (LODO). That said, plenty of bicycle pedicabs circle this area so there’s nothing to fear.
Check-in to this hotel was a breeze. The front desk clerk “Ryan” was pleasant and even hooked us up for free beers at a local Rock Bottom restaurant. I suspect this was an accommodation since the advertise happy-hour only is held Monday – Thursday.
The room was on the 20th floor (#2015 I think) and include a small kitchen with fridge, 2 burners and a working sink. There was nothing terribly remarkable about this particular Residence Inn, however, everything was clean, in working order and acceptable. BTW the hotel has on-site parking which is a plus downtown!
Breakfast the next morning is better than most Marriott Residence Inn’s I’ve utilized. There is a large seating area and I didn’t have trouble finding a table.

Room Tip: Top floors have a good view. Ask for the North side of the building if you want to see the mountain...

It sounds like you had a fun Birthday celebration! Thank you so much for your feedback. I also wanted to let you know for future reference that there is a light rail that goes to the Pepsi Center from Union Station. It is very easy to get to and only costs $2.25 per person. Thanks for your positive comments about our associate, Ryan. I have passed this on to our Management Team as well. We hope to see you again soon. Take care.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Denver for a long weekend and were elated with the hotel, location, breakfast, service... Everything! We got an upgrade which was fantastic, the views were awesome and the 2 minute walk to the 16th street mall was unbeatable. The staff was helpful in providing great advice of what to do and see in the city, I would definitely reccomend this hotel to all types of travelers!

Stayed here for 2 nights for Bronco/Steelers football game, Had a 1-bedroom suite and it was large enough for myself, son and 2 grandkids. Kitchen made it easy to fix a quick pizza, meal or snack. Rooms were very clean and had a flat screen TV in each room.

Lobby area was very nice and was nicer than several other pricier hotels in downtown Denver, including the Denver Marriott, Hotel Monaco and Magnolia Hotel. An excellent and plentiful breakfast was included with the price each morning.

The entire hotel staff was friendly and very helpful on directions and things to do in Denver. The hotel is 2 blocks away from the 16th Street Mall and one can catch a free bus ride at the mall to the Union Station access to the Light Rail train to Mile High Stadium. Hotel location is within walking distance to any downtown restaurants or activities.

This hotel offers much more value for the dollar than most other more expensive hotels and boutique hotels in downtown Denver.

I've stayed in both hotels and the Residence Inn is more modern and a more pleasant experience than the full Marriott on the next block. The hotel still looks brand new and is well kept. Although we could hear our neighbors as we opened our door, inside we could hear nothing. The views were excellent. It's a shame that the hot tub looks like it's now shut down and the area has become the smoking area. I agree that at $22 the parking is expensive, but there's other alternatives close by. It's location is perfect for downtown Denver and in easy walking distance of some great restaurants. We headed all of fifty feet to Panzano's and had a great meal. Breakfast was good, although on a Sunday morning it can get a bit overcrowded, so arrive early. The food was good, hot and plentiful. The coffee was the biggest disappointment, weak brown liquid. Thank goodness the coffee shop attached to the hotel knows how to make real coffee! All in all, an excellent choice for a trip to downtown Denver. Oh, great choice of channels on the TV, but could we have HD TV please?

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of renovating our hotel. Our renovation plans do include updating our TVs to HD as well as to replace the hot tub with a fire pit. We hope you will return again in 2013 to experience our updated hotel.
