Expect to pay $10.00 or more for parking. We will use the rail next time as we can connect in golden now! Food & beverages r high so eat b4 or after the game. A quick walk from the ctr Nd your on mariner or the 16th st mall and the pavilions! Family fun for sure!

“Fun Hockey Night Out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

The Pepsi Center can be a great venue for Nuggets basketball and Avalanche hockey games. The key is to take advantage of the special deal packets, such as a "Family 4-Pack", which includes 4 seats plus food and beverages, and sometimes a commemorative program. If you go to games that are not considered "premium", such as end-of-season games when the team is not in the playoffs, you can get great seats at a very discounted price. Such was the case for our son's birthday last weekend. The Avs/Redwings Friday night game had tickets only in the highest sections, for a high price. By waiting to see the Avs play the Calgary Flames on the following Monday, three of us got seats in the 100 section at a deep discount. The game is more exciting when you can sit close enough to really see the action, and the seats in the lower sections feel less crowded. The venue is great for folks of all ages, and there's fun stuff to do all around the arena. Food is very good, at a decent price (for stadium food), the restrooms are kept in decent shape throughout the game, parking and public transportation are reasonable, both in distance and in price. For a fun night with friends, families, or groups, try the Pepsi Center!

“terrible acoustics”

Half of the many concerts we've gone to there, you can't even make out the words. Both the World Arena and Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs have much better sound.

“No complaints”

We attended the Avalanche game Sat the 30th and we had fun. The stadium was nice and had many food and drink vendors before walking into the actual stadium. Lots of stores to buy apparel. We enjoyed it.
