“Beautiful”

Love this park. Great for walking. HUGE green area and beautiful trees. Beautiful garden with a space that would be perfect for a wedding or any outdoor event. Very impressed with the beauty of this park.

“Wonderful Park for Locals, Not so Much for Out-of-Towners”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

If I lived within a mile or two of Cheesman Park, I would be visiting the park on a daily basis to use its fine and lengthy network of paved paths for walking or jogging. The park is safe, clean, well-kept, and impressively large.

Out-of-town visitors looking for a little wow factor may wish to skip Cheesman and visit the neighboring Denver Botanic Gardens instead. In fact, Cheesman is more intriguing when viewed from the Cheesman Gate on the western edge of the Botanic Gardens.

“Great place to spend a sunny Sunday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

Cheeseman park is HUGE for a city park. Great big trees and wide open spaces. There is a sidewalk loop that's great for walkers and an outside dirt/gravel loop that's great for runners. Great place to have a picnic or BBQ, hang out with friends and drink beer. The surrounding neighborhoods are great too. Beautiful old architecture and shops and restaurants.

“Oh yeah.”

What a great park. Obviously the Botanic Gardens to the east are the real draw in the area, but Cheesman Park is a great big urban park worthy of your time.

“Denver's Prettiest Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Cheesman Park has the best views of both downtown and mountains, wide open green space combined with nice wooded trails. Proximity to the botanic gardans also makes it a nice place to spend the day. Parking is easy, and the surrounding neighborhoods have some of the prettiest mansions in the city.
