“Excellent Brunch”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Stopped in on a sunny Sunday morning and sat on the patio. Service was attentive and friendly, and the food was as delicious as it was beautiful. I had the maple salmon with the house-made bagel and cream cheese. My husband had the Eggs Benedict. The prices were appropriate for the quality of food and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. This restaurant has a welcoming vibe - not at all pretentious. We won't hesitate to return.

“The Sunday Brunch is outstanding”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Highly recommended... The atmosphere and service are first class, and the food is unique and delicious. Eric's house made donuts were tasty starters for our Sunday brunch before a Cirque du Soleil performance at the Pepsi Center, and we were pleased by the artfully served, not-too-sweet raspberry brioche French toast as well as the abundant serving of rioja benedict. Would definitely visit again on a future trip to Denver!

“Dinner & a show”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

If you're the type of person who looks around the room to see what the dishes look like before ordering, definitely go for the chef's table! Not only do you get to see the final dish, you often get to see it coming together (although it's not a complete view). I ordered the salmon app and octopus farfalle. The salmon was by far the highlight, wrapped in sections of mango that came away in bite-size pieces with amazing flavour. The octopus was excellent, but I wasn't blown away by the pasta itself. Pretty, but the squid ink sauce was perhaps a bit too subtle. Attentive service and reasonable prices completed the meal nicely.

“Don;t let the name fool you”
Reviewed October 24, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This is a very chic place. The name may lead you to think that it serves Southwestern cuisine but the menu is varied and has unique items on it. The venison I had melted in my mouth. The sauce that was on it delighted my taste buds. The pace is slow by design so you can enjoy every morsel. The atmosphere is nice and softly lite. You will enjoy this place for any occasion.

“Yummy!!!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

A friend and I sat at the Chef's counter and got to see up close the meticulous care put into preparing our wonderful meal. We tried a few starters and salads, all of which were delicious and interesting. The service was excellent and overall, dining at Rioja was an outstanding experience.
