Description: Denver was founded in 1858, the first spot where gold was discovered in Colorado during the heyday of the Gold Rush. While still firmly rooted in its Western past, modern-day Denver spotlights sharp skyscrapers, clean streets and literally dozens of parks that give it a much younger and more progressive feel in the new millennium. Although nicknamed the "Mile High City," Denver doesn't lie in the mountains at all. The city itself is completely flat, sitting on high plains with the Rocky Mountains as a majestic backdrop. Stop by the Hard Rock Cafe Denver the next time you're visiting the "Mile High City"! Located in Denver Pavilions, this two-story walking mall on 16th Street was recently rated Denver's #1 tourist attraction, but that doesn't mean locals don't hang out here, too! We're the #1 spot for everyone, and as always, the Hard Rock Cafe is easy for everyone to find. Just look for the 20-foot neon guitar and spread the word that there's still gold to be found inside our doors! (Gold-album recording artist memorabilia, that is.) So if dry mountain air has left you parched, unhitch your wagon and have a seat at our handcrafted oak bar for the tastiest drinks and the best grub this side of the Mississippi. No horses inside though, please, just the occasional pony keg.

“Hard Rock”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

I had the best citrus chicken salad. My waitress was very attentive. The only thing I didn't like was the loud music, but I guess that is what you get when you go Hard Rock.

“Typical Hard Rock experience.”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This is a standard Hard Rock Cafe, so if you like the other locations you will like this. The staff is very friendly and it is centrally located in Denver next to an outside mall.

“Great as always”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

This is the standard Hard Rock Cafe, so if you like the others you will like this.

We went there twice during the week, and most of what I like about Hard Rock Cafe is the videos and concerts playing, Unfortunately they were having trivia night so while the video screens were on, the sound was whatever the DJ was playing. The trivia was one question between each song, so would have taken hours to complete.

“Great Fun”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

We had a day layover in Denver so we headed to the pub district to sample the local brews. Our first stop was a familiar favorite, the Hard Rock. This café had the quality of food and service that I have come to expect from the brand. There were several local micro brews to choose from and you get to keep the souvenir glass. The waitress was beyond helpful. She ended up coming to chat with us for a while, clearly interested where we were from and wanted to hear about our travels. I highly recommend stopping at the Hard Rock while in Denver.

“Not even worth it”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This visit was not even worth it for the "touristy" experience. We went at 5:00 pm and it was basically empty. The host and waiters/waitresses were disheveled and not attentive. The food was pricey for what you get and was actually horrible in taste. We had not eaten in 5:30 am and were starving, so you'd think we would have cleaned our plates. I had the mac 'n cheese w/ grilled chicken which was not tasty at all. My friend had the fish and chips, which the fish was kind of liquidy on the inside of the crust and mushy. It was also VERY greasy. We each ate about 1/3 of our food, only because we were so hungry. I doubt I will every visit a Hard Rock on any vacation in the future.
