"Stories That Sing," that's the motto for Opera Colorado. Excellent productions with world-class cast and creative talent in the beautiful, remodeled Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Their shows are so good I see them as many times as I can.

I have been a member of Opera Colorado for the past 10 years! I have seen numerous opera productions in this house. Opera Colorado has state of the art acoustics, it also offers the Figaro System on the back of each chair, with translations in English and Spanish.

I'm looking forward to the 2013 Season with the opening night of Romeo & Juliet by Charles Gounod, based on the play by Shakespeare on Feb 9 at 7:30pm.

Don Giovanni by Mozart next, than a professional Premiere of "The Scarlet Letter", a new opera by Lori Laitman, libretto by Colorado Poet Laureate David Mason.

So if you are a fan of Opera or not, this season is the season for you! If this is your fist time at an opera, than I recumbent "Don Giovanni" great music and exciting plot! Toi, Toi, Toi!

Great experience. Such amazing talent. Beautiful venue. Sub-titles at every seat. The subtitle is located on the back of the seat in front of you, so you can see the show and read the sub-titles.
