“Don't let the drab exterior or location keep you from finding this gem!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Went on Saturday night with another couple to celebrate his birthday and we were all wowed. The food, from appetizers thru dessert was as amazing to taste as they were to look at. Flavor combinations were interesting when you read them on the menu but when you put them in your mouth you immediately appreciated the chefs artistry. We shared some tastes off of each others plates and there wasn't a selection that we all didn't love. I must admit being piggy with my dessert however which was pointed out shortly after it disappeared. Ooops! Our server Marcus was knowledgeable and professional without being over bearing. And the chef made an appearance as we were finishing up and truly seemed to appreciate our thanks. No attitude like one might expect in Cherry Creek at a restaurant of this caliber. Yes I agree the cost was no cheap but if you are looking for a great experience with fantastic tastes, splurge. I think you'll find the value well worth the price.

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

The sole complaint I would have is the price. Quite expensive. But the food is tremendous. You can tell the chef is very creative and works hard at his craft. I have to say the flavors are some of the most unique I've had. We've gone back repeatedly. Always very pleased.

“Average food at a fancy place”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

This is a fancy restaurant with excellent service but average food taste. Appetizers, sweet bread & cured scallop were great. Main courses, we both order steaks (filet mignon & ribeye), were so so. Deserts, chocolate ganache & creme brulee were just OK. Overall experience is a mixed. We think it is overpriced.

“Outstanding FOOD! superb chef and excellent service”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

My wife and I have gone to Opus when it was in Littleton and always had an outstanding meal and experience. The relocated Opus in Cherry Creek North is every bit as great as it was in Littleton. We recently went there for Sunday brunch and enjoyed every bite.

“Not worth a repeat visit IMHO”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

This is one of those foodie type of restaurants where there is crushed popcorn topping your scallops. Kind of weird and too salty for me. Great beet and goat cheese salad, except they forgot the goat cheese. Very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Took the time to explain the preparation of every dish and paced the meal well. We had a Travelzoo voucher for a three course meal for two for $59. With wine and tip our meal cost $100. We didn't love it $100 worth by any means, unfortunately. Also, the physical space did not reflect the high end cuisine, looking more like a strip mall restaurant.
