My husband and I each had a salad which was nice and cooling on this hot day. I had smoked cheddar Mac and cheese as my meal and my husband had a Reuben... both of which we liked!

We enjoyed our visit to the Paramount Cafe. We liked the array of menu items, settling on the green chili mac & cheese (yum), the fish and chips (very good), and a stack burger (tasty, too, but slightly under-cooked). The classic Art Deco movie theater setting was pleasant. Our server was very helpful with menu choices and special requests. We would certainly visit again.

From the outside, this place looked like a good time. The patio was busy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We sat at the bar, which wasn't busy at all, and waited. There was a bartender that kept walking by, but no eye contact, no hello, and no "we'll be right with you". Finally another bartender appeared and asked for our drink order. Not friendly at all, and definitely not welcoming. It's always a disappointment when you have to ask for another drink, ask for a menu, ask to order your food, ask for silverware and then have to ask for your check. This is not the experience or service that would make me go back again.

We were looking for a place to sample a couple of local craft beers that was family friendly. We were there during the day and it was within walking distance of 16th street (awesome walking street with lots to see). The front of the restaurant is open to the street, which is neat. They had great happy hour deals, were family friendly, and offered awesome local craft beers. The building itself looks like a renovated theater and has cool decor as well.
