Description: Sam’s No. 3™ was the third of five Coney Islands restaurants opened by Sam Armatas during the 1920′s. The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". We were selected because so many local fans had written. A must-stop on any trip to Denver.

Sam's No. 3 is good but Denver has a lot more to offer. If you are looking for a diner then it's the right place. If you are looking for great mexican then go to more of a local's resturant.

We frequent the location in Aurora. They are consistent with the food and dining experience. We go almost every Sunday and we haven't had a bad breakfast in over 2 years. We ate dinner there the other night, and we both liked the Mexician food. Sipmly put, we always have excellent food here as well as great service!!!

Sam’s No. 3 is the best. We went there on the recommendations in TA and we were not disappointed. We ended up eating there for 3 breakfasts and one dinner. Good food at great prices!

OMG, Every plate that passed us by looked fantastic!! Our lunch was great on Monday!! Even though they were closed on Sunday for a taping of Diners DriveIns and Dives, and I couldn't watch the game on their tv's......we still went the day after to enjoy a plate. And it was worth it. Great service and great food!!

we came for breakfast expecting a great meal after reading all the other reviews, but both my husband and I felt that the food was just average. I can cook better at home myself. they were not particularly friendly either.
