I've been to few french style restaurants in Denver, and Bistro Vendome is by far the best!
You get what you pay for. Excellent service and exquisite french cuisine. Great ambiance.
I highly recommend it.
Make sure you make reservations, it is always busy.

The Bistro is a very nice, relaxing restaurant and we were pleased by the ambiance and the wonderful service. We elected to eat in the bar area and enjoyed the conversation and service with our bartender and the wait staff. Wines were good, not great - at least by the glass. Dinner was excellent and we had the cheese plate appetizer and scallops for dinner. Dessert was a cream cake that was delicious. There is an outdoor seating area that is reminiscent of Paris, and would certainly be wonderful in the summer months. The meals and wines, however, were not inexpensive. Overall, a very good experience.

We dined here last night before going to the theater. The onion soup was great and the creme brûlée even better. However we both had the duck confit and it was like eating a salt lick, should have sent it back. The service was great when we arrived but got spotty when more customers arrived. The $14 glass of red wine was mediocre, but the $8 red was really good. We will go back eventually, the ambiance is wonderful and I want to try the frites.

Decided to enjoy French cuisine before the Passport to Paris Colorado Symphony. Not our first time here....but we often forget about this beautiful restaurant so close to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Escargot and Mussels were a great way to start and our server made excellent wine recommendations. Dinners....Steak Frites por lui and Trout por elle. Desserts included Pistachio French Macaron and a Sorbet Flight. Definitely needed the large French Press Coffee after all that food!

We went on a Monday night in early October. On Mondays, they discount their wines from 25-50 percent. My husband grew up in England and one branch of our family is French, so we are not intimidated by French food. The food was FANTASTIC. The service and attention to detail was even better. We had NO idea why this place was so moderately priced. The waiters, sommelier, everyone was great! This is the best bargain in Denver!
