This was our third time to Bistro Vendome and the food and wine were, as usual, wonderful. I had the Canard aux deux facons, two others had Steak-Frites, and the fourth had the sole. the salads and appetizers were excellent. I really loved the duck (magret and crisped confit) and the two steaks were cooked perfectly with very generous cuts. The sole was a bit overcooked, however. Our real complaint, though, was with a waiter that ignored us for long periods of time talking to other clientele. He never asked us if we liked out meals, was just disinterested in us at all. We decided to skip dessert and go elsewhere and his tip reflected out displeasure. I'll definitely go back, but will request a different waiter if I see him again.
