Location on the corner with plenty of outdoor seating to watch the world go by is great.
Food is on the reasonable side of cost with an inventive menu.
Both key ingredients to a Very Good rating which on another night this would have been.
However, there was a reason I didn't leave a tip (as all the servers reading this glare in anger)
The maître d had one of those "I waited tables for 12 years and have this better than you attitude" which now just makes me laugh. Standing next to the only empty outdoor table (indoor was customer free) we had to convince her that we wanted to eat here, sarcastically rather than across the street - what global recession?
The first waiter finally came along and took our drinks order only to be followed some 15 minutes later by another waiter asking the same question. The good news is when all employees seemed to figure out there roles on the night and the rather nice food arrived, the meals were incomplete, missing several side dishes.
It was a plucky effort by all to successful balls up what could have been a very good rating and enjoyable evening. Well Played. Better Luck Next Time.
