I typically wouldn't leave a review on the Cheesecake Factory. In fact, we've eaten at many many Cheesecake Factory's in many cities we've been to. The food is the same as all of them and dependable but I was VERY unhappy with the SLOW service we received.
We went for lunch on Monday and we decided to go in earlier to avoid the lunch rush. We went in around 12 PM and it wasn't too busy yet. That's why it was so surprising it took forever.
We went with two young kids and it was very annoying that it took almost 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. They stuck us in a back/side room which we didn't mind. It was smaller but just kind of ugly compared to the main restaurant.
We were the first people in the room by the time we entered but almost all of them got their food first even though we ordered ahead of all of them. Our waitress never told us why it was taking so long. Finally a manager came over and said that "our ticket got lost and they had to start over". She apologized but it would have been nice if they offered at least a dessert or something to make up for waiting 40 minutes to get our food.
I can't complain about the food. As mentioned, it's a typical Cheesecake Factor and the food is decent but the service here is just not good.... Also, our waitress should have came over and apologized about this personally. It almost seemed like she was afraid to just be direct with us and honest. She kept saying "it's almost out".
Just not good service.
