Delicious. That's how we described our food. We had the Rellenos norteno, which are NM style and delicious, perfectly cooked to have just a little crispiness and smothered with delicious green chile. The Tres hermanas enchiladas were also delicious, and the red sauce/chile was delicious as well. We also enjoyed the chipolte sauce on the 3rd enchilada (beef). We were indulging heavily, so we also had the guacamole and salsa (both very good, salsa was a little black peppery, which was interesting and good) and the queso, which was also very good. Fresh chips were fun and good, too. We also had dessert, which was some of the best home made flan I've ever had. The sopapillas were also good, smothered with honey. (Oy, we took leftovers home with us. Too much food!) We had a few margaritas, which were also good, but we didn't feel spectacular.
We were surprised it wasn't more busy - we had a few other couples in the room, but the quality of the food certainly deserves more patrons, especially in this area of Highlands. We really enjoyed it, and service (despite bad reviews from many years ago) was excellent. The atmosphere and art are also quite interesting, and nicely done. We will be back!
