“All that - and jazz”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

As a visiting Australian, I came across the Wazee suppr club hen on a walking tour done via an iPhone app. The sign on the door mentioned that there would be jazz that night, so at about 8 the three of us wandered in.
The decor is black and white tiles and red formica tables/ The sport was on the screens, but at low volume, and we could see that the band was on a break. Our server was Kelly, bright - and well informed on all 30 types of beer that were available. We ordered drinks and pizza settled back as the band struck up - a quintet of very accomplished musicians. Good beer, good pizza, good service. What more could we ask?

“a different kind of pizza place”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

found this simply walking by on the way to the 16th st. market. had a wonderful pizza (sausage and onion) and spinach salad. all were super. the sausage is locally made and very tasty. salad was fresh and the dressing not overpowering. service was friendly and efficient. watched the game, ate a pizza, wonderful evening.

“Unique pizza joint in Denver lodo”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The Wazee has been a long time Denver special place for eating and drinking at a definitely "non-chain" venue. I've been going to the Waz 430 years and never tire of its lively atmosphere, great pizza, and burger specialties. It is located walking distance from an awful lot of good restaurants and funky hotels in Denver's logo historic district. For what it is, a great pizza joint, it is one of the best.

“Good Pizza Very Loud”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

The good was good enough,
Saturday night and the place was full and very loud,
One block off of the 16th Mall so the location was excellent.
Service was slow but that may have been due to the crowd.

“Great location, good service and nice entertainment”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

The Wazee Supper Club is in an excellent location in downtown Denver. The service was good, even though the restaurant was quite crowded. I as in a failrly large group (12) which they handled well. Food was average. The Caesar Salad would have been better had the lettuce been spun dry, as the water on the lettuce was noticeable diluted the dressing. Read several reviews about the "great" thin-crust pizza so I tried that. I may be a thin-crust pizza snob, but this wasn't thin crust, at least by Milwaukee standards, The ingredients were fine, but the crust was chewy away fron the edges.

Very nice jazz band entertaining. They made the evening more enjoyable.
