“Great food and friendly staff”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Our overall experience was very good. The Fattoria Piatto was our favorite appetizer along with the Brussels sprouts (so good!). Some highlights from the main courses include the Pastiche and Gnocchi al Coniglio. The Agnolotti was a bit disappointing despite how awesome it sounds on the menu.

“Local Organic Great Tasting”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

The food and the atmosphere were terrific. Within walking distance to many downtown hotels. Local ingredients, very good flavors. Glad I made a reservation. Would gladly go again.

“Best Happy Hour in Downtown Denver”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

Artisanal small plates that give you a sample of the larger fare available at the restaurant. Cheap cocktails and drafts complement the food selections and make for a time well spent. Starting at 230 and running until 6PM, it makes for a prelude to any other activity you have planned for the evening. If you want to cozy it up, try and get one of the booths rather than the small tables on the floor--lots of walking traffic make those tables a bit distracting for even the most focused of couples. My companion and I had six dishes and two drinks for a grand total of $42. Hard to top!

“Great restaurant”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We had not eaten here in several years and were thrilled with our return visit. First off, we thought we had made a reservation through Open Table but comes to find out we had made it for the previous night, not the night we showed up. It posed no problem as the Maitre D' was very understanding and asked us to have a drink and he would fit us in as soon as possible on a VERY busy Saturday night. After about 25 minutes, we were given a nice booth. There was a "special menu" in celebration of the Beer Festival, but we chose to eat off of the regular menu. Looking at fellow diners that had chosen off the special menu, there was an abundance of food! Our appetizer, main course, and dessert were all fabulous! The waiter was very attentive but not hovering over us all the time. It was a real treat to return to this restaurant!

“Good solid Italian cuisine, great VALUE and SERVICE.”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Take note, free valet service if you park at the Hotel. We didn't know that so we parked on the street. We enjoyed the following appy's: Crespelle Ai Funghi / Cavolini Di Bruxelles. The calarmari was OK, a tad wet. For the mains, I highly recommend: Carbonara a la Panzano and Braciola Di Maiale Affumicato. The veal was also OK. Service was great. Enjoyable evening dinner environment. Had a great time.
