I haven't been here often but I have always regarded the restaurant as a good place for a business lunch. The atmosphere is good, it is clean, and the servers are well-trained.
However, today I ordered the Fish and Chips as part of the "Business Lunch" menu selections. What I received was a small amount of heavily-battered fish, a reasonable portion of fries, and a platter otherwise covered with large chunks of fried batter.
There were so many of these chunks scattered throughout I had to work to separate my fries to eat them. It was impossible to cut my fish with a knife and fork because my platter was so crowded with this inedible stuff!
Maybe this approach works in a pub where eating with the hands and chasing with beer is the norm, but not for a business lunch.
Willie G's, If you must give me a small portion, give it to me on a smaller plate and don't put that junk on it, please!
