Great service with lots of recommendations by our waiter on food and beer. Server brought out a taste of the gumbo base before we ordered - good idea as wasn't something we would have liked.
The prime rib bruschetta was to die for, should have gotten a second order as the burger was good but not great. Chopped salad was good. Good weather so we sat outside, staff had to chase away a panhandler but they handled it very quietly.
Good wine and beer list.

Had lunch on patio (recommended) if weather is conducive. The trout was wonderful & a substantial portion compared to many other eateries! Triple seafood salad also wonderful! Even though this is a Landry chain rest. It doesn't come off that way!

We are huge fans of ALL the Landrys properties being from Galveston where it all started. So we are always on the lookout on our travels for one of their restaurants and attractions. We thought we struck gold in Denver when we discovered they had a Willie G's. What a disappointment! We are NEVER disappointed in Landrys until this one. This locale was trying to be an urban upscale something and didnt even succeed at that. It was an over-priced, insolent, pretentious waste of time. They need another cook also. (Note I did not call him or her Chef). It was NOTHING like Willie G's usual fare of fabulous. The gumbo wasn't even close to bad (closer to teriyaki watered-down chili is the closest I can describe it), the shrimp embrochette was cold and chewy as rubber. I hope they make some changes soon so it doesnt tarnish Landrys excellent reputation.

New York Strip and Filet were excellent, ample portions, cooked as ordered. Caesar salad with Blackened Salmon was nearly perfect (but the Romaine was 12-24 hours past prime). Overall good value, great location.

Had an amazing meal. Came to Denver for fun/business and decided to go out for a nice night with my husband, business partner and cousin. We were extremely impressed. The food was excellent and our server Lamont was very attentive and had some wonderful suggestions. We couldn't have been happier and plan to return every time we come to Denver.
