LOVE their noodle bowls!! All good tho!!.....Try to go slightly off "regular mealtimes" because they can get VERY BUSY!!.... Service is good even when busy....
If you love Vietnamese food....this IS the place..........We have been there many times..........

“Nice Presentation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2012

Wasn't sure what to expect after some of the reviews. Pleasantly surprised at this Zagat rated restaurant. Service was neat and efficient. It helps to have some familiarity with the food as the menu is large. I ordered a noodle bowl and my husband had a vegetarian curry. Also a soursop boba drink. Our server was not overly helpful in determining what to order, but was quick and efficient. The food presentation was very nice. Prices good. They do take credit cards. Overall ambience was nicer than I expected Everything was neat and clean. Tables not too close together. Wish I had room to sample some items from the bakery next door. Will return and try other items.

“Mmmmm, noodle bowls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

They have awesome noodle bowls but they also have a very authentic (and extensive) Vietnamese menu, if you feel daring, go for it - you'll be happily surprised.

“Hipsters Stay Away”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

No nonsense wait staff - love it. If you are an uptight yuppie or hipster, stay away. "My name is Jason and I will be your waiter. Do you have any questions about the menu?" are words that have never been spoken in the hallowed walls of New Saigon. Good food, great price, killer Boba, and dead-pan waiters.

“More options for a vegetarian”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2012

There are hundreds of Vietanamese restaurants in Denver and vicinity. Most of these with the name Pho-XXX (some number signifying an important event or a date or just lucky number). Like most of them New Saigon is a casual dining place with high density of number of dinning tables in a square meter area. New Saigon is next to the newly opened New Saigon Market in Federal and Mississipi area. The place as I said is really crowded and noisy. Not at all a place to have a quiet dinner. You'll here loud chattering, silverware noise, phone ringing and kids shouting/crying. The dinning tables are also small not enough to accomodate food for all seaters. Even though there are several drawbacks to this place but the food is good, decent service and resonably priced. One of the very few place where I found vegeterian options to choose from. Would definitely consider going again, may be with ear plugs ;-)
