After reading several good reviews before setting out for lunch at Pint's Pub, we were very disappointed. While the beer was good, the food was poor. For $10 I had a Ploughman's lunch, which had a few slices of cheese, white iceberg lettuce, lunch meat, 2 slices of an unripe tomato and a dry role. I have had much better and fresher cheese and lunchmeat from the deli section of my local grocery store. While is was 1 pm on a Tuesday afternoon in a very busy section of the city, the pub was almost deserted. The few other meals didn't look much better. I have eaten Plougman's lunches in pubs here in the US and throughout the UK. Some of been expectional, others ordinary. This was by far the poorest.
