“Great Pizza!”
Reviewed December 22, 2011

I love the pizza here. It's great to have a local place where great pizza is made without the "delivery" flavor. There are a couple of other pizz places near by, but if you want a great crust with tasty toppings, Patsy's is the place to go. I haven't been in the other part of the restaurant, so I can't vouch for the food on that side...

“Denver's oldest Italian restaurant--a mile high classic!”
Reviewed August 11, 2011

This is a classic--perfect home-style Italian--in a location few tourists will find. The flavors are robust--the minestrone is peppery and assertive, the puttanesca sauce is rich, spicy and redolent of garlic--and the interior is right out of Billy Joel's Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. Order the homemade pasta--the thicker of the choices is a bit like rope--or the calamari. Love this place. . .and after all, any place that serves $2 pints of Coors Light is quite OK with me.

“Luke warm food !”
Reviewed May 14, 2011

We had a party of 6. Three meals were great, but three meals were not heat hot. Two of the luke warm meals were Lasagna & one was rigatoni. I question if the lasagna was freshly made or just heated up from the frig or freezer. How could you bake a lasagna and both plates be barely warm, if that. I would hope for the price you would not get food heated from the frig. I'm guessing the same for the rigatoni. Our waitress was informed of our displeasure. I'm really disappointed.

“If ghosts could talk......”
Reviewed April 15, 2011

Patsy's is an old authentic Italian restaurant with the old pictures and legendary stories to fit. If you're looking for an atmosphere of the old Italian neighborhood, you'll get it here. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two over a bottle of wine. The Service is good, as the food is average for around $9-18 a plate. Homemade spaghetti, delice!
