Made a trip to Jazz at Jacks last Saturday and was blown away by the House Band, Dotsero...they ROCKED the house! Great energy, great crowd, and crowded! We waited an hour to get a table, but not a big deal since we were able to find a couple of seats at the bar and we could hear the music playing in the next room. Once seated, we got a table on the dance floor, which was great! The only disappointing aspect was the poor excuse for food on the menu. I realize that this is not a restaurant, and the main reason for going is not to eat, but c'mon, anyone can do better than everything deep fried! We ordered the only thing not deep fried....hummus and chips and we literally got served about 2 ounces of hummus and 12 ounces of chips....I'm not that good at math, but it didn't quite add up. How difficult would it be to put some healthier and more appealing items on the menu for those of us who need some nourishment for burning some calories on the dance floor?

We went to Jazz at Jack's on a Friday night to see the jazz band Dotsero. The club is located on the top floor of a shopping/entertainment complex. It can be easy to miss, so make sure to follow the signs. There is a cover charge for the second act, but not the first. The club itself was smaller than I expected, but still a good sized place overall.

The decor is nice, but is dimly lit so it can be difficult to see. They offer a small menu with mostly appetizers, but do have other options such as fish and chips. If you are looking for a good drink selection, they have it here. They have a "bathtub margarita" that is enough for more than two people. The waitresses can be hit or miss, but not an issue overall.

The band was really good and the patrons got into the music. The music was not too loud, so while it was hard to hold a conversation, it was still enjoyable sitting back and enjoying everything. If you're looking for a place to hear live music in a nice setting, Jazz at Jack's is a good option.
