Description: Brand new restaurant in Denver. One of the few with a great view of the Rockies. Great food and wonderful atmosphere! Really enjoyed it!

I visited Coohill's recently with a friend and found not only the food to be excellent but the owners Tom and Diane super people! I enjoyed the pate, risotto and the french rose but the dessert was awesome. If you love hazelnuts as I do then you must try the Marjolaine Fernand Point, it is the one of the best desserts that I have ever had. Looking forward to a return visit.

Though the menu is limited if non-meat eaters are part of the group, the choices for the carnivores are delicious. Tom Coohill is working wonders in the kitchen.

I also liked playing with the beverage - iPad which provided good information about the available wines and interesting cocktails. Equally important, the noise level was moderate and we all could hear each other talk!

I wonder, however, how many ounces they are pouring in the wines by the glass.

Right at the corner of Speer and Wewatta, COOHILLS is a splendid place to dine. The food is excellent - [delicious and well presented] !!! We came on Sun Dec 31, 2012 [night before New Year's Eve]. it was almost empty, we were received, hosted, and waited on my Johanna. The Wine Selection is impressive and they give you the Wine Selection menu on a IPad, and you select it from that [very unique] - Three of us tasted Blue Crab Cakes, Clam-Musssel Chowder, Pear Arugula Salad, Smoked Berkshire Pork RibEye, Grilled Atlantic Swordfish 'Au Poivre', Lemon Tart, Chocolate Mousse, and Coconut Sorbet, along with an excellent bottle of 2009 'Petalos' Bierzo from Spain, American Mules cocktails, Sparkling and regular water. This is a fine restaurant, and hopefully we will be able to come back again and check it out. We were not disappointed at all.

Allow yourself some time to enjoy the beautiful decor and the perfection of food that delights all of the senses. I fell in love with the burst of flavor from the brioche. The escargot melted in your mouth. Wine selection can't be beat.

Our party could not decide which of the desserts won out. Several went with the marjolaine however the bread pudding left me wanting more, and more, and more.

For a bit of trivia fun, ask the staff about the rootball chandelier. The food is such a delight, you will miss this gorgeous piece of architecture.

We were here with a large group of people on business in October 2012. Our group had a great opportunity to visit on the patio in the sun before our dinner was served. Dinner was lovely and the service was professional. We know how difficult serving large groups can be, but the staff was up to the challenge!
