This was my first stay at La Quinta in Denver @ Gateway Park.
The hotel and grounds were clean and this hotel was just built about a year or so ago and is still in wonderful shape... It is very modern and what I really liked believe it or not were 2 things the shower actually had sliding doors on it...and the tv channels were very simple 1,2,3,4, etc to 40 included in this were 3 HBO channels...

I will be going back most definitely.

I was driving my own personal car which I parked at the most outlying (Pikes Peak Lot) parking area at DIA. At first I planned to stay at the LQ closest the DIA (Tower Rd) but then I noticed this location on Peoria was not that much further away and cost quite a bit less. The money I saved at the Peoria location more than paid for the parking lot charges for my 5-day absence. The BEST part is that the Peoria location is a GREAT hotel, where the property and rooms are obviously well-maintained and managed. I was very pleased with the experience!

We chose this hotel because they allow pets without any additional fees. The hotel is new and the rooms are clean, comfortably, and quiet. The location is great, only 10 minutes to downtown and close to many attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

At first was a little leery of this place because the surroundings are a bit shady, but despite that the rooms were excellent! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean (two rooms) and the AC units were surprisingly quiet. Don't know how old the hotel is, but it didn't show age at all. The kids had a great time at the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a disappointment after everything else had been so positive - just standard continental: waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt. Would have been an almost perfect stay had breakfast been better.
We did go a few blocks north to pick up a pizza from Dominos - definitely wouldn't have wanted to do it later at night when it was dark. Pizza and salad we got was great though.
If you're staying for a just a stopover, don't let the "don't leave anything of value in your cars" signs in the parking lot keep you from staying.

We are usually fans of La Quinta but this one was just okay. There was not much of a selection for breakfast...waffles were sticking to the waffle maker and they should get a new toaster because who wants to wait over 5 minutes to get toast that is not even toasted! The hot tub was too hot. Also, we couldn't get to sleep until after midnight because there were 2 girls soccer teams on the floor above us. The apparently thought the hallway was a practice field.
