Had a fabulous time on a Saturday night! Busy and fun! Great service, great wait staff. The food!!! The crab cakes were terrific; pecan crusted trout and scallops and risotto were unbelievably good. The spinach and salads were great too! We will return!

Went for late lunch at Ocean Prime and caught it at a post-restaurant week Tuesday lull. We opted for a wall booth in the bar, rather than a table upstairs. OP sets a nice table; linens, good silver, nice atmosphere, etc. Except for one thing. I guess my partner and I just aren't cool enough to dine in a nice atmosphere with loud music blaring in our ears from all sides. We actually like to carry on conversation with each other, while we dine. However, credit to the hostess who turned down the volume at our request. Jordan was quick to arrive and tend to our drink requests. I had already reviewed the lunch menu on the website [it's why we chose OP] and all three of us opted for the Seafood Cobb Salad. Initial comment is that the wine pour seems to be about a half fluid ounce short of adequate, IMHO [got to keep portion control tight, so as not to disrupt corporate bottom line]. I wouldn't comment on the pour, except that the price is $12 per glass for a wine [Honig Napa Sauvignon Blanc] that you can get at Applejack's or Argonaut for 16 bucks. So it looks like their mark-up is about 4X. Comment two: eat the bread! Fantastic; finished in the oven before serving - it took me back to the sourdough glory days of The City. Comment three: The salad was perfect; everything as represented. It was a challenge to clean the plate [seconds and thirds on the bread, mind you], but we did it. The salad was preceded by a couple of raw Atlantic oysters. Hint: you can order whatever quantity you want at three bucks a pop. The meal ended with a three-way split of a Creme Brulee that was quite good. We dined at a leisurely pace and Jordan was attentive, but not obtrusive, the entire time. We engaged him on several topics and he proved himself knowledgeable and proficient. Good job Jordan! In summary, we had an enjoyable lunch and would like to try OP for dinner. But be aware that it's not cheap. Our final tab - with tax and tip - was a total of $163 for three. Maybe that's the norm for Larimer Square.

As this was our first visit, we decided to order from the special 5280 week menu, and it was amazing! We try to take advantage of the Denver restaurant week promotions to check out restaurants we haven't yet tried and as a result we will be returning to Ocean Prime again in the near future! We loved the Filet Oscar and Ceasar Salad, and thought is was better than Flemings or Del Frisco's. A special THANK YOU to Erica the Hostess as she was so helpful in changing our reservation due to the unpredictable Colorado weather.

I dined here recently as part of a party of 7 adults, one infant. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our waiter was really interesting, accomodating and we all had a great time together. The food was fantastic - easily the best food I ate during my trip to the US (although DP Dough Denver's Calzone were also pretty darn good!).

The whole experience at Ocean Prime is good - from the clean and well appointed washroom, to the excellent choice of wines and precisely cooked-to-order steak.

I would definitely visit here again (once I've saved up my bikkies - mains were $42-46 from memory) and do recommend this restaurant to others.

The restaurant had no reservations because of the popularity of 5280 so we sat in the bar. Our bartender, Matt, treated us great. Our meal was one of the best I've ever had. The food at this high end steak & seafood restaurant comes with side dishes! You don't have to order the potatoes for $7.99.

We would definitely go back.
