“Super-easy, fun, relaxing way to see Denver!”

A friend and I did the city loop tour with our trour guide Jim today and we had a super time. The ride is easy, and we spent a pleasant and relaxing two hours seeing many of the wonderful sights and scenes in downtown Denver.

Highly recommended, and the tour made us want to come back to Denver when we have lots more time to explore all the super things Jim showed us on today's ride.

“Great way to start your Denver visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

My wife and I had just a short time in Denver, and we figured this would be a nice and efficient way to get an overview and get some ideas for things to see later in more detail. Our guide, Jim, was fantastic. We were the only two people on the tour and Jim was very knowledgeable about historic Denver as well as current events in the city. The tour flowed well and the cycling was easy and mostly over bike paths and lightly trafficked roads. Afterwards, Jim also gave us a great recommendation for a lunch.

“Best way to see Denver!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

So it was our first trip to Denver, and my boyfriend is an avid biker (I am not) and does not like to be a text book tourist but rather prefers a more "local exerpience" which is why we try to do a bike tour when we travel to get the best of both worlds. We also try to find smaller more local companies (FYI- Brian's bike tours in Chicago is another great option). Bikelope was the perfect option. We lucked out in being the only two on the tour and had the coolest guide, Jim. Denver is a very biker friendly city, cars are very courteuos to bikers, bike lanes are every where, they have city wide rent a bikes, and IT IS AN EASY RIDE FOR ALL AGES AND LEVELS (despite being surrounded by mountains, Denver is a VERY flat city...we only faced one "hill" which was a baby one). I agree with other reviews that note that this tour is perfect for locals and tourists the like. It never felt like we were on a tour but rather on a very low key, chill excursion with a good (city savy friend). We will definitely be back to Denver and hopefully take another tour (they are working on a 30 mile out city tour). PS. The tour starts and ends right across from REI and one of the oldest bars in Denver (My Brother's Bar, an old jack kerouac haunt, featuring great ambience, friendly staff, great food (bison burgers and such) and an extensive beer list) which is the perfect place to chill afterwards!

“Awesome Tour of the city!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

I took this tour with my husband and my 9 year old daughter. It was so much fun and a great way to learn about the city. I booked the tour very last minute (morning of) and Bobby (the owner) was so great to work with. He met us at the meeting start place to get us set up. We were provided with cold bottled water and granola bars which is a very nice touch. Jim, our tour guide, was a wonderful guide. You can tell he sincerely loved the city of Denver and loved being able to tell us all the interesting facts about the city sites. He was so patient as well and made sure we were all safe and stayed together at a good pace. He even made a special trip for an extra bathroom break when someone in our group needed to go! On the tour, you get to see all the great sites--the museums, the capitol building, the historic neighborhoods, Coor's field, Union Station and many more. We were so happy that we were able to take this tour. Thank you to Bobby and Jim for making our summer vacation memorable!

“what a great way to see the city!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2012

We are fond of doing bike trips to see the city in another way, by being active (on a bike) and see things that you would otherwise miss, and/or see things you wouldn't have seen otherwise.
Jim was a terrific host, very friendly and knowledgeable, humorous, and took good care of us.

Folks, this is a not-to-miss tour everyone should do! Thanks for guiding us through your lovely city, Jim!!!!
