“If you leave hungry, it is your fault!”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

It had been several years since we had eaten at one of these Brazilian steakhouses but the quality has not backed off one bit. The staff is falling over themselves to take care of you and the food is excellent. Unless you are early, do the valet parking as it is free except for tip and know that the price of the food is not for the faint hearted but well worth every penny.

“Will give them a second chance...”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

My husband brought his employees here for the company Christmas Party. When we made the reservation (10 people) we were told we would have a private room.
We arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes early and were told our table would be ready shortly. We got drinks at the bar (They have some GREAT martinis) We ended up waiting until 25minutes after the time that our reservation was scheduled for and they were still setting the table as we walked up. The table ended up not being in a private area. (There was a bigger party and it seemed they had moved us without letting us know). So that was a little frustrating but we were ready to move on and eat. The line for the salad bar was OUTRAGEOUS and wound round past the kitchen and through a narrow hallway. A waiter was carrying a tray of water glasses (i think it was water) past the line in the hall and dropped the tray, spraying myself and my husband in water, shattering glass at our feet. Not the end of the world but the waiter didn't apologize or acknowledge that he had poured water on his guests. My husband had to track someone down to bring us towels because they didn't seem to notice us.
We eventually got our food and it was delicious. Eventually the waitstaff became attentive and the food was great. I was in the middle of the large group table and the table behind us was quite close. Because of the lack of space, those of us in the center of the table were skipped over when the meat was brought several times. BUT when they did bring it they did a great job remembering who at the table wanted well done. That was nice...until they dropped one of the plates in my lap.
Overall it was a fun night but if I had to choose I'd go to Texas de Brazil. It's more spacious with a better atmosphere and larger salad bar area. Fogo de Chao did make it up to us in the end with free dinners if we return...we'll go back and give them a chance to impress us, there's a good chance it was just a rough night. (The bartender who stepped in to serve us was awesome) Hoping for a better experience next time!

“Underwhelming and Overwhelming at the same time!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

What an odd experience! When we sat down we had a delightful waiter who later disappeared and then we saw no one. This is an all you can eat meat experience (turn the chip to green and they bring you meat.) Unfortunately, when we turned the chips over we were descended upon all at once by so many meat wielding men it was too much to take. We couldn't enjoy the different flavors and tastes as it all came so soon. And then no one could be found as we waited to order another bottle of wine, dessert, the check.

“Wonderful experience and terrific food.”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This is a dining experience. Plan to stay awhile and enjoy but pace yourself. The food is wonderful and plentiful. Don't be timid ask for your favorite cut of meat and the super friendly staff will have it at your table in a flash. Great wine list too. Highly recommend this fun Brazilian style restaurant.
