Description: The Urban Sombrero in Denver serves more than great Mexican food, we're also a passionate Sports Bar, where residents from Denver and beyond have come to cheer on their favorite team, or to drown out the sorrows of their losses. Our menu includes a wide variety of new and traditional Mexican fare, including Burritos, Chimichangas, Carnitas and more. Our burger selection features 1/2 lb grass fed beef, paired with high quality ingredients. You really can't go wrong, a solid selection of Mexican food, flowing beer and Margaritas, and large TV's, nowhere else really compares.

We were staying near DIA at wanted a place to have a small meal and some drinks while watching some football and the staff at the hotel recommended the Urban Sombrero which was within walking distance of our hotel. We found the draft beer choices acceptable and the service excellent. We both had salads which were well made with very fresh ingredients and excellent dressing, I had the Fiesta salad and my wife the Taco salad. Chips and salsa were served and chips were good but the salsa very average. Numerous TV's to watch various sports in the bar area and a very friendly crowd was their that Saturday afternoon.

The Urban Sombrero was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to try it. Not only was the food well-prepared and delicious, but the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant while staying in the area. The service was excellent with a good selection of Mexican and non-Mexican cuisine. They also had a good choice of draft and bottled beers. The server was most accommodating and allowed me to taste various draft beers before making my choice. The facility was also very open and airy. Outside table service was also available. And of course, the food was very good. Try it -- you will like it!

Service was friendly. The chips and salsa were good, but the guacamole and steak fajitas were flavorless. Not at all what you expect from a Mexican restaurant.
FYI, Not being from the area, on the map, this looks like an easy place to find, but because of construction it took us awhile to get to it. We ended up taking the long way around.
