This is a beautiful pathway that stretches all along Cherry Creek from downtown Denver to the river. We stayed in a hotel a block away and ran in each direction the two mornings we stayed in Denver--both were beautiful. As runners, we especially appreciated that bikes/rollerblades/etc. have their own pathway on the other side of the creek most of the way so we didn't have to dodge each other. Our only complaint is that the surface is concrete, which is hard on the joints! How perfect it would be if at least some stretches had a softer surface; asphalt even would be better than concrete. It also is true that there are some signs of homeless encampments and stinky stretches where folks had left their "business," but on the whole, for a downtown natural area in a city this size, it was remarkably clean and safe-feeling.
