“A wonderful asset to the city but needs a softer surface for runners/walkers!”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

This is a beautiful pathway that stretches all along Cherry Creek from downtown Denver to the river. We stayed in a hotel a block away and ran in each direction the two mornings we stayed in Denver--both were beautiful. As runners, we especially appreciated that bikes/rollerblades/etc. have their own pathway on the other side of the creek most of the way so we didn't have to dodge each other. Our only complaint is that the surface is concrete, which is hard on the joints! How perfect it would be if at least some stretches had a softer surface; asphalt even would be better than concrete. It also is true that there are some signs of homeless encampments and stinky stretches where folks had left their "business," but on the whole, for a downtown natural area in a city this size, it was remarkably clean and safe-feeling.

“Bike Ride to Downtown Denver: Something Different!”
Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

Part of a very nice urban trail that connects to all parts of the Denver metro area. We rented a couple of bikes from a kiosk near Cherry Creek Mall and followed the trail to downtown. It runs along the creek with running water and small waterfalls. Very rural atmosphere amongst the hustle and bustle. We had lunch at Confluence Park and rode back. Lots of bikers and runners everywhere. Lots of fun. Something different to do in Denver.

“This alone makes Denver worth visiting”

A safe, consistently high standard bike path. Combined with the river path it offers many highlights besides the benefits of cycling. Highly recommended.

Great place to walk just minutes from downtown Cherry Creek. It was a welcome break from the traffic.

“Great path for biking or jogging”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

I've jogged this path many times and enjoy the green path all the way into the city from Cherry Creek, but something has to be done with the vagrants that accumulate at various places along the path.
