Sunday lunch was very good. Need to spend more time it has some great collections housed around the hotel in glass cases. My other half wasn't up for it, but i found it very up market.

The Brown Palace in Denver is one of the most luxurious, elegant hotels in Denver. Afternoon Tea is a very popular event and reservations are a must. I used the romantic ambience, and most wonderful staff to propose to my fiancée. This was the best choice. The staff brought over a rose and champagne and then the most wonderful tea and edible delights were served. For the most special occasions I recommend The Brown. The staff is what makes it special and no request is too large or small. We will establish a family tradition here and share our most treasured family moments only at The Brown. Thank you to all the staff.

Four of us took the train from California for my husbands 60th birthday. We planned to stay at the famous Brown Palace Hotel and dine at the Brown Palace Club. We checked in and we enjoyed a celebratory glass of champagne before going into the restaurant. Fabulous menu and wine list so we ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers. After finishing these, my husband placed an order for a second bottle of wine and was told that he was too enebriated to drink any more. Now, we own a restaurant in California and we know what an enebriated guest looks like and we were all quite shocked. I asked to speak to the Maitre D and informed him that we were staying at the hotel and we had traveled across the country for this celebration so we certainly couldn't get into too much trouble ordering a second bottle of wine. He informed me that it didn't matter, we were cut off. Needless to say, we didn't order the birthday dinner and when we tried to eat in one of the other restaurants on the property, they followed us and wouldn't serve us there either. Pretty amazing. I didn't know Colorado was a police state.

Prior to our evening at the Brown Palace we had heard many wonderful things about its excellence from family members and friends but without experiencing it first-hand you never know how subjective those comments may be but now we can't wait to return and stay a bit longer; taking in a show or two at the nearby performance venues.

We had the pleasure of dining at the upscale restaurant the evening we arrived and we were amazed not only by the quality of the food and its preparation but by the wait staff and chef who visited our table twice to be sure that we were pleased not only by his presentation but by his wait staff. The following morning we breakfasted in the Hotel and again the service was superb.

We did not have the time to experience the Spa due to time constraints but we did visit its gift shop and purchased two bathrobes which have become our favorites from the many that we have picked up on our trips around the world. The staff, at the Spa, was just as welcoming and cordial as the rest of the Hotel staff so we are looking forward to our return, in November, to indulge in its pleasures.

We wholeheartedly recommend the Brown Palace Hotel to anyone wanting to disengage from the complexities of life and wishing to be pampered in style.
