We were amazed at the size of the Gardens, the sculptures, variety of plants - everything. I had expected a nice well maintained garden that we would visit for maybe an hour. We were there two hours and could have stayed longer and enjoyed the time. I will visit again when in Denver. Inexpensive. Nice places to eat, sit, walk.

First of all, we love visiting the Botanic Gardens and have the annual memebership. This review is about their fairly new Childrens Garden across the street. I was so excited to take my 2 year old grandson there but was shocked that the special childrens center is so poorly kept up and poorly designed (unnecessary safety hazards, no shade spots so in the boiling sun with the kids all the time, etc.)There is no imagination or creativity and is sorely in need of a committee of mothers with children to give the Botanic board some suggestions on how to overhaul the whole area. Take your children across the street to the Botanic Gardens instead.

Denver has an amazing Botanic Garden and conservatory. Always changing, always something new to see. Beautiful sculpture installations - changed yearly. Great place to walk, read, photograph and just enjoy nature and the beautiful blooms and water features.

The Garden is a beautiful place well cared for. Traffic noise and high rises dose take it down a bit. If your looking for something to do it is worth going, oh check the admission cost can get steep.

We went here on Mother's day weekend while visiting Denver. There was no admission fee because the gardens were having their annual plant sale.

I'm sure the gardens are really lovely in about a month or so when more plants are in bloom. The tulips, peonies, iris, daffodils and other early flowering plants were pretty. The grounds were really nice and it was great to see so many families enjoying the gardens on such a beautiful day. It was unfortunate that the tropical conservatory was not open on the day we visited.

The gift shop has a beautiful selection of items, but I was disappointed that it was more garden retail-oriented and not geared toward being THE gift shop for the Denver Botanic Gardens. There was hardly anything available for sale that said Denver Botanic Gardens.

There is a cafe on the premises with indoor and outdoor seating that was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.
