Owner description: A modern stadium with an old-fashioned feel, this is one of the National League's first new parks built exclusively for baseball since 1962.

This is a fantastic ball field, 100% Kid friendly , Just love the place, Rock Pile is the place to sit for really cheap seats, .. GET THERE EARLY and take lots of Suncreen.

I grew up in New England, and later lived in NY and SF. I've visited most major league ballparks, and can honestly say that if you're a baseball fan, you should really see a game at Coors. The views are unique, and so is the baseball. Altitude (and low humidity) really do change the game -- I've seen more triples here in the past two years than in the previous 42! Like all ballparks these days, the food choices are many, and to the Rockies' credit, the service is usually quite friendly. The LoDo neighborhood also has lots of restaurants, bars, and shops for pre and post game. All in all, it is hard not to have a fun day (or night) at Coors. And tickets are always available (usually at a deep discount from online resellers). The first base side gets sunny early in the evening for night games, but also has the best mountain views (especially in the upper deck).

Ever since they built this park, we've schemed to get there for a game as often as possible. The mountains over the outfield stands are beautiful and a summer afternoon here is bliss.

There is no better place to watch a great team at play than Coors Field! The hotdogs and beers are easy to get too, and the prices dont require a bank loan to go out with friends and enjoy an evening game. You can always get tickets fairly cheap if you sit in the "Rock Pile" way out in center left field. Thats a great seat to catch some summer sun tans watching an afternoon game!

If you have seats in the right place you have a beautiful view of the mountains when the action on the diamond is slow.
