Owner description: A modern stadium with an old-fashioned feel, this is one of the National League's first new parks built exclusively for baseball since 1962.

Coors Field is one of the most beautiful ballparks around. The outfield faces the mountains and from most seats, you can look at the foothills and some of the 14ers. There is a purple row of seats in the upper deck which is exactly at 1 mile above sea level. Food variety is good and it's good that they let you bring in your own food and drink again.

With a view of the Rocky Mountains out Center field, a seventh inning stetch with great hotdos and other culinary delights, and awesome fireworks for the Fourth of July, this place is a great place to watch the boys of summer. If you are from out of town and not accustomed to many homeruns and great hitting you gotta take in a game. Unfortunately the Rockies have struggled dealing with these hometown unique attributes, but the fans are great cuz they are westerners.

Coors Field feels old and new at the same time. The ballark has great views of the mountains and the city. The neighborhood just south of the ballpark has a lot of typical, big sprots bars, but go a little north and you will find hipper hangouts, like the River North Brewery.

My wife and I were recently given complimentary tickets to a Rockies/Cubs game. It was a really good experience to boot. Once we arrived at the stadium, it was pretty much smooth sailing all the way through. We were fortunate enough to have complimentary parking as well. The parking voucher allowed us to park fairly close to the stadium. How nice! We didn't wait in a single entry way line. Once we got inside, we walked straight to the Wazee Market area. I had done my due diligence and researched some of the best places to eat in the ballpark. We certainly had a nice long walk to get there but it was well worth it. We opted for the meatball parm and chicken parm subs. Just next door was a full service walk up bar. It seemed really nice compared to others in the stadium. I opted for the Sandlot Brewery's(Brewed on site)Rightfield Red Ale. Great choice. It wasn't cheap(like anything at a ballpark), but once again well worth it. Once we found our seats in Section 121 Row 15 we were very happy. During the game we opted for some sweet treats and indulged in a gourmet cheesecake on a stick and chocolate drizzled fruit on a stick. Yummy!! My wife and I are not huge MLB fans, but we still enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the food. We stayed for about 50-60% of the game(we had a 3 year old with us for his first MLB outing).

Great stadium...great food vendors, good beer and we even got to walk down onto the field after the game to watch a great firework display. The crowds are managed well both in and out of the stadium. Good downtown scene after the game. The locals said that the Rockies always lose but that the fans always come anyway...probably because of the stadium experience.
