Owner description: A modern stadium with an old-fashioned feel, this is one of the National League's first new parks built exclusively for baseball since 1962.
Reviewed July 22, 2012

My husband and I recently attended a three-game series at this park and had a fabulous time. We sat in a different area of the park for each game (on purpose) and got a real taste for baseball Rockies style. There was a giveaway each night (rally towels and t-shirts) since this has been dubbed Year of the Fan. There's a wide choice of food and prices were in line with other parks. The park is downtown, so there are plenty of establishments in the area catering to fans before and after the game. This park has a lot of good baseball ambiance and the employees convey a sense of excitement and appreciation. Only one suggestion to make--containers like other ball parks have for recycleables (aluminum cans, plastic bottles).

I love the venue. Not a bad seat in the house. If only the team was a little better then it would be perfect. All in all a great experience, especially for a kids first game, atmoshere is great.

As a family of five we are always looking for fun stuff to do with the kids that doesn't break the bank- one of the favorites is going to a Rockies game. We normally buy Rock Pile tickets, if you go to Coors Field and buy the tickets adults are $4 bucks and kids under 12 are only a $1. Awesome deal and great view if you ask me.

For $60 per person Stub Hub tickets, we had excellent seats close to the players, who graciously signed books for our kids. We would have paid $150 per ticket for these seats at Yankee Stadium. My husband loves going to games while we are away; this stadium isn't as aesthetically pleasing as San Francisco's, nor does it have the dining and shopping options. Better quality food and restaurants would have been appreciated, but for the price, our family had a great time.

Although we did take in a game, I would like to review the tour of Coors Field. It was $6 for children and $7 for adults. We bought them online and went to will call but you can just buy them at the stadium as well. The tour was about an hour and a half and introduces you to everything from Rockies/Coors Field history to views from the 3rd level seats all the way down to a walk on the field (not the grass, just the dirt) and into the dugouts. You walk in the same halls the Rockies do! You get to see the suites and the broadcast area. I would take this tour again based on the experience and the awesome price. We parked on Blake Street for $4 for the day.
