“Nice place close to everything but skiing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

A great venue for many events in Denver. The biggest surprise were the concessions, pretty good grass fed beef burgers for $8. It's nice not to have to leave the facility for lunch (or a lack of good options). $8/ day parking is easy and close and FedEx Office is across the street for good last minute copy/print/fax needs.

“Huge but unimpressive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

It is a huge place so it is great for big events.

Signs and information could be better.

Bathrooms are impeccable.

Sculpture of bear is a nice touch and location is great.

This place is the heart beat of downtown Denver. I live, work and play in Denver. Im Denver proud. I always take family and friends to see the Big Blue Bear. What a awesome piece of art.

“Fun Place, Great Exhibits”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

The convention center is easily accessible from all parts of town, and easy to find because of the giant blue bear sculpture. They host a variety of events & shows. One of our favorites is the Garden & Home Show in February. The whole place smells of spring flowers, and it's a great respite from the cold & snow of winter. The building is HUGE, and usually has multiple large groups in at a time. Great restaurants nearby, though those inside the venue are very good, too.

“An average convention center”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

If you've seen one convention center, you probably don't need much of a description of this one. It was clean, well lit, and had almost enough restroom facilities. The Wi-Fi was spotty and somewhat unreliable, but most convention centers seem to suffer from this problem. There are several nice places to stay near the convention center, some right across the street, and some just a couple of blocks away on the 16th Street Mall. I highly recommend the Marriott Courtyard which is accessible to the convention center and in a great location for restaurants and shops.
