Ate here this week with a customer of mine. We started with the lump crab cocktail which was quite large and very good. Moved onto a filet cooked medium rare (came out perfect) which was quite good and split a lobster tail. The lobster was good but not great.

Shared the cream corn which was very good and a baked potato which was good as well.

Nice wine selection. Was it expensive? Yes, but not outrageous and worth the price.

My biggest complaint was the atmosphere. We had a table in the middle of the room and it was quite/very loud. Try to get something on the sides if you want to be able to communicate.

Food was great. Environment was awesome, little bit loud but fun. Wait staff was beyond attentive. Even talked Broncos with my husband.

On a recent trip to Denver, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton. We knew that on arrival, we would be tired and famished, so we made reservations at Elways since it was inside our hotel. Te meal was wonderful, start to finish. We were seated quickly, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service was great. My steak was probably the best that I have ever had, the sides were wonderful and dessert was amazing. This meal was one of the best parts of the trip.

Had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The staff was courteous but clearly overwhelmed...on a Monday night ...at 7:30. They were out of prime rib though they offerred a different cut as a courtesy. There are many other choices. If the place us busy, select some other place.

We have eaten some great meals in our lives--this one ranks near the top.

This is a high end steak house with the menu, prices, service, and food quality you would expect. Our servers, Chris and Phil, were honestly the best I have ever seen. Personable, attentive service without being hovering. Their recommendations were spot on, and I will agree with Phil's recommendation of the lamb fondue appetizer as being a 'game-changer'. The wine list was very broad and not ridiculously over-priced. Look to the French and Italian wines which seem quite a bit better priced than the California ones. The filets were perfectly cooked and very tender. Think carefully about your desert plans--the portion sizes are on the decadent side.

All in all an exceptional experience.
