“Washington Park is lovely any time of year”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Although pretty bare this time of year, Washington Park is a serene place in a lively city. Take time for a walk through at least part of it.

“Beautiful Denver Park”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Denver has many wonderful city parks but Washington Park is one of the best. Perfect gathering place for groups to picnic and play lawn games, beautiful gardens and water features. Great place to walk or run.

“Great city park for walking”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Walk around the pond and enjoy the ducks, geese, and seagulls in the water. Great old pine and oak trees withe a nice path around the water for walking. It's fun to watch the squirrels and the dogs on leash noticing the squirrels. There are also public tennis courts. A wonderful serene way to spend some time in nature near the heart of the city.

“Great Park for a City”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

We walked through this park on a beautiful sunny fall day.
There was some kids races going on and that was fun to watch.
I understand there is usually something going on there.
There was also a pop band playing there that day.
There is a nice path around the water for walking.
It was clean and restrooms were available.
It showed us the typical Colorado outdoorsy feeling.
A great city park.
