This is a must see and do attraction if you are in or around Denver. There is something for everyone of all ages and interests in anything scientific or natural. I especially appreciated the fact that the museum had activities and exhibits for toddlers. Our favorite was the planetarium where Sesame Street Characters explained the stars to my 2 1/2 and 5 yr. old. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny. There is a cafe and snack bar on property. For some reason the cafe was not open on a Saturday afternoon, but the snack bar was open. The museum is at the City Park where you can play in the fountains or rent bikes as an extension of your trip.

Had a lot of fun here. Took 3 teenagers 15,17,18 and they all had a good time. Especially enjoyed the health exhibit.

Took my young kids 3 & 5 because I had a good deal on tickets with IMAX & Planetarium. The kids breezed through the exhibits, not very interested in them, enjoyed the Discovery Zone and shows more. It is great to see once, not sure I would be back again until they were older to appreciate it more.

Maybe this is good for small kids, but so many of the exhibits had things under repair or out of order. The dioramas were last dusted when Ross and Rachael visited. And that was the last time they appeared updated. For an adult only visitor, I think Denver has better to offer.

The dinosaur collection is astounding. The "space" room includes an interactive demonstration on the impact of meteorites. But the highlight for me was a holographic map displaying the evolution of the earth's land masses: including a marker to display the movement of the mass that would become modern day Colorado.
