“Worth a couple hours”
Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

We have a 16 month old and decided to visit the aquarium before our flight home on a Saturday. It was extremely busy, if you can leave the stroller at home, do it. We meandered through for about an hour and a half and it ended us at some room with carnival-like booths around the sting ray tank. That was a little weird. Also, there is 1 elevator and a ton of people need it to go up or down with strollers. We had to wait 3 trips to get on. Just a other reason to leave the stroller at home. Overall it was fun and my daughter loved it. I would just say that it might be worth visiting during a weekday when it is (hopefully) less packed

“Rip Off, Go Somewhere Else”
Reviewed March 22, 2014 via mobile

Doggone that was a rip off. $18 per adult for just the exhibit (thankfully our kids are under 3 so we didn't have to pay for them), $7 parking, etc. This would be fine if the aquarium were something special, but from the moment we arrived, we were waiting in lines and herded thru like cattle. And with a stroller, it was near impossible to get thru the narrow walkways. Definitely go to the zoo or the Children's museum. Both are less expensive and so much more enjoyable. Won't be going back and will encourage friends to go else where.

“We loved it!”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

Our family of 5 visited the Downtown Aquarium during our Denver spring break visit. It wasn't difficult to find and parking was readily accessible. It was on the pricey side but as a touristy attraction, that was expected. We enjoyed walking through and there were plenty of things to see. It was very interactive and overall a blast. My youngest however was not a fan! She just turned 2 and it was quite loud in many of the exhibits as well as quite dark so it wasn't her favorite place. There were several things she did enjoy, though, so it wasn't a total bust!

The dining area is gorgeous and the wait staff was very friendly and prompt. It did take a while to get our food out to us, but again, that was expected. The food was very good and seating was perfect for viewing the tanks. Again, a bit on the pricier side but worth it!

I'd definitely recommend this to a family with children.

“Not worth the money!!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

The sights are fine I guess but it's not worth the $20 to get in. Oh and the bartender named Ashley in the lounge-WOW!- slowest, most terrible service ever!! We waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged (there were only about 6 people in the with drinks already) then another 5 minutes or so for her to even ask what we wanted. Basically we watched her bumble around behind the bar in circles, doing nothing, while we waited for drinks. I wouldn't waste your money if I were you. Lame date night!
