I am a zoo aficionado - I just love them! My kids have even complained that we go to too many zoos....this one is just average. The habitats are dated and not designed for optimum viewing. The animal selection is so/so. The best part was watching the polar bears, but as far as zoos go....there are many that are better.

No Animals our and the ones who were out looked very sad and dirty and not well cared for at all. Skip this one and go the the Zoo in Colorado Springs a much better experience for the Children overall.

This is a very large zoo so be prepared to do a lot of walking. If your goal is to feed the lorikeets, get there early before the birds have had their fill of nectar. Highlights of our zoo experience were getting to see a tiger playing in water and the antics of the penguins. This zoo is very family friendly - you can bring in your own food and there are park areas where you can eat and rest. Water fountains are abundant, which is great for refilling water bottles. Plenty of restrooms throughout the facility as well. Plan several hours and wear good walking shoes and enjoy a full day at the zoo!

Typical zoo in many aspects, but it was exciting to see some animals that aren't typical zoo attractions such as the Komodo Dragon. I of course loved seeing the new born zebra and other baby animals. The prices for refreshments are fair and not as jacked up as they are at other similar tourist-oriented establishments!

We visited the zoo with our children, ages 4, 9, and 13 and had a fabulous time! The zoo is well designed with interesting animals in every area. We enjoyed how close we could view the animals also!!! Great zoo!!!
