“Great day for the family”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We love the Zoo, and get a membership every year. It is huge, so you can either spend the day or visit a few times and see different sections. The animals are in large enclosures and seem well-cared for. Special events like Zoo Lights are also a lot of fun.

“Nice Day Out”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

The Denver Zoo is located in their City Park. It's a decent sized zoo with a nice variety of animals. We were able to watch their sea lion show (nice but don't expect Sea World!). Admission is an affordable $12 per adult.

“A great way to spend your day!”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

The Denver Zoo is a great way to spend your day! You can wander among the animals, stop off at a cart for some cotton candy, and take a ride on the conservation carousel! The Tropical Discovery houses an incredibly number of reptiles, including six Komodo dragons, and is my favorite part of the zoo. If you're here in October, you might check out the lights at Boo at the Zoo, or take in the Zoo Lights if you're here in December.

Reviewed February 18, 2013

Had a very nice time at Zoo today, had some altitude sickness at Bre kenridge with the kids so came down to lower elevation. We all enjoyed our time you despite being cold lots of animals too see, get there at 10am to see it all. Food court gave unique options.

“Pachyderms and pandas -- they're all there”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

I have been a docent at this fine zoo and I loved it. It is one of the best in the country with natural habitats and an outstanding preservation program. I don't need grandchildren to visit. It's a lovely trip just for me.
