We visited on a cool day and almost every animal was out and about. Wish at least one restaurant had true inside seating.

We have been long-time members of the zoo! This past year we have visited several times. The new Toyota Passage is incredible to see! We were sorry about the passing of Mimi the Elephant! Perhaps the most wonderful part of this zoo is the efforts that have been made and are currently being made to provide a natural habit for the exhibits to live in. This really brings the exhibits to life!

Denver did a great job with limited space. The animals are taken care of and seem to be quite a bit of thought put into their habitats. You can bring in limited items for snacks and such. This makes eating there a bit expensive, but I am ok with that as long as the proceeds go to the animals.

My family usually goes to the zoo for Mother's Day since we can all enjoy the zoo. It's great for kids with a lot of different areas including an outdoor water area that my grandson loves to play in. Food is available although a bit pricy but you can also pack your own food and there are picnic benches where you can eat. A train is also available but there is an extra cost for that.

With kids, this is a great stop in Denver; watch out for free days, because they are *packed* (although if you don't mind that, they're free!). the December lights displays are amazing, and the tropical displays are available to duck into when it gets too frigid.
