“nice afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2011

spent a nice afternoon here. The zoo is a little small but expanding. Will be very nice once all the work is done. My kids 8 and 10 enjoyed it.

This is by far one of the best zoos that we have ever been to! It took nearly the entire day and we didn't even see all of it! I highly recommend any family to visit this zoo!

“Magical at Christmas Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2010

Last year my husband, son and I went to the Denver Zoo over the Christmas holiday. It was magical! We loved the lights and decorations, the exhibits were well kept and clean and we stayed until after dark to make sure we enjoyed all that was offered. When we became too chilly we just went into an indoor exhibit to warm up for awhile. It really added to our holiday celebration away from home.

“Beautiful Family Day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2010

My husband and I visit the zoo often with our son. Very easy to see the animals and a whole day of entertainment. Also, the zoo offers several free days each year. Be sure to see when you can visit this fantastic attraction for free (note: it will be crowded on these days but plenty of animals to see)

“Not the greatest”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2010

I've been to a lot of zoos and I didn't care for the Denver Zoo exhibits that much. When we went there, they were doing some construction on the back side and a lot of the animals already went back into their feeding cages. The layout of the Zoo wasn't that great and it didn't feel like it had any kind of real flow from one type of exhibit to the next.

Recommend skipping this one and going to the San Diego or San Antonio Zoos.
