Excellent service.....beautiful hotel and gorgeous suite. Amenities all 5 star quality. Parking is nonexistant however and fee is over $30/day. I would rate this hotel excellent if not
for the parking issue. You can walk to several restaurants/venues downtown however you will need pull your vehicle in and out from valet or get limousine/ taxi to get around outside of the downtown area. Book limo ahead or you might not get one. Concierge is stellar!

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Vail. Upon check in we were notified that there was a wine/sangria happy hour from 5-6 along with free chair massages! A perfect way to unwind. The room was a standard size with a king bed, but what made it feel more luxurious were the tall ceilings. This will sound ridiculous, but I also really appreciated the great shower pressure (after spending the weekend at a resort in Vail where the pressure was like a leaky faucet, it was a welcome relief to have strong water pressure!). We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant - the omelet special was delicious and the raspberry jam was incredible. Hotel location is great - one block from 16th street mall. This hotel was a bit more expensive than we typically choose to book, but for this special weekend away without the kids it was well worth it!

A wonderful Kimpton visit. Great service from check-in to check-out. Room was an interior room and not large but with more than enough room to enjoy the weekend. Even though the room was near the elevators the noise was well muffled (we asked for a room near our friends so we accepted the room even though a better room higher up was available). Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Would have been nice to have an arm chair to read in but the desk chair was serviceable. The 500 PM wine hour is nice, surprisingly large number of children there - but it was a holiday weekend. Also a nice selection of dogs.
Restaurant is top notch. So many great selections that we had a tough time making our selections. Breakfast is also wonderful, especially the smell of fresh baking bread, being made by the bakers as you enter the dining room.

The hotel ideally located right in the middle of downtown. It is only a block from the 16th street mall. We walked (about fifteen minutes of slow, tourist-gawking pace) to the Rockies game at Coors field, Larimer Square, the Capitol and U.S. Mint and many other attractions really easily.

We were there for our anniversary, so I called ahead and the staff got a dozen of the biggest most beautiful roses my wife had ever seen. They also arranged champagne to be sent to the room later in the evening. This was just one of the ways that the staff was helpful and friendly.

The bed itself was a bit hard for my tastes, and the room was a bit on the small side, but otherwise, the room was furnished nicely. We had a room facing the interior of the building, so while we had no view, it was also really quiet.

The cab in from the airport was a set fee of $55 dollars. Thanks to the location of the hotel, this was the only time we needed a car the entire time we were there.

Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely consider the Hotel Monaco for any further stays in Denver.

Room Tip: Interior rooms look into a central shaft. No view, but quiet.

Hotel staff is warm, kind and inviting. I have stayed here twice in the past two weeks and have enjoyed every minute of it. Rooms are huge. Hotel is trendy and clean. The happy hour at check in is a nice added touch. Staying at the Moraco truly makes traveling for business feel more like a vacation. Bravo kimpton!

My wife and I were traveling with our daughter, her two children and her two dogs. The Hotel Monaco Denver not only accepts dogs, they honor them. There is a chalkboard by the main entrance where the write the names of all the dogs staying there that night. They put a dog bed in the room that has a dog staying in it. The parking is all valet from a curb area just outside the front entrance, but it worked well. The rooms were quite nice - well furnished and reasonably large. We need an extra luggage stand and the bell man quickly fetched us one. We arrived too late for dinner, but we had a nice breakfast in the restraurant. The servcie was excellent everywhere.

very happy with my stay at the hotel Monaco Kimpton.
1. good location within proximity of Denver Convention Center. Can either walk 15 mins or lots of available taxis waiting fro about 5$. taxis all prefer cash and are not to happy with short trips unless you tip well. Seven/eleven across the street for quick snacks and bottled water. Mini bar water 1 liter is a rip off at 7$. Hotel offers free ice tea or flavoured water in the afternoon...really nice when it is hot outside. They have free coffee in the morning in lobby and happy hour with the 'best" sangria between 5-6:00pm! Also have wine and free back/neck massage at that time.....really nice! Taxi from airport is minimum $51
2. Best restaurant that we experienced in Denver was in in hotel ....Panzano...highly recommend for any meal.
3. Spa in hotel (aveda) is great for convienience, but pedicure was not the best I have ever had. Massage was good.
4. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Concierge was great.
5. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was good, but soft on side where most people would access and sleep. Enjoyed all the feather pillows. Room was quiet enough even though it faced street...no views. Free wireless internet, but horrible chair at desk, worked from coffee table and couch..
6. great proximity to 16th street mall (1 block) with some shopping/restaurants and free bus ever few minutes. Cherry Creek mall (by taxi $10) has Nordstroms and many designer shops.
7. Would stay there again.
