This hotel was perfectly located for exploring downtown Denver & going to a Bronco's game. FREE PARKING, which is a big deal for a downtown hotel. We walked to & from Mile High Stadium and felt very safe. Try the Zuni Street Brewery next door! Would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: The 2 bedroom loft was great!

We used this as our headquarters for a five-day stay in Denver that included a family wedding. It was a fine place for an extended stay, well-located with closeness to the freeway and some intriguing neighborhoods to explore, with many appealing restaurants, as well as a nearness to downtown. Free parking was a definite plus. The spacious unit's kitchen was well-equipped and the ironing board and iron came in handy for wedding prep. We also used the guest laundry and sampled the free breakfast -- all fine but nothing extraordinary. An extended stay may yield a different perspective about a place than a quick in-and-out, which may be why we became more critical of the Residence Inn's high wood fence surrounding its collection of cookie cutter condo-like buildings and its large parking lot. Perhaps this fence was necessary for security at some point, perhaps less needed now as Denver has grown and gentrified, but the fence provided a cooped-in enclave feeling to the place, especially when all one can see from inside the units is parking lot and high fence. Would we stay at Residence Inn on our next visit to Denver? Probably so, but only after investigating other places, especially ones that possessed a little wow or views or great rates or some other appealing factor to draw us there instead.

Trying to find a hotel in the downtown area was tough on our last minute trip. This one popped up and I was pleased to find, it's a downtown hotel not in downtown. Meaning, it's just across the freeway from all you'd want to do there, yet not smack in the middle of the congested areas. So, you can park for free at the hotel and walk right into downtown over the pedestrian bridges, 15 minute walk, if that. Or, take the free shuttle the hotel provides hourly for destinations in a 3 mile radius, more radius than you ever need for downtown activities. And although it's a Residence Inn with full kitchen, they offer free breakfast also. It is a superb value as compared to other hotels we looked at with higher pricing. Our two bedroom loft suite was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Several good restaurants available within close proximity as well, without having to even cross the river. Definitely would recommend, and stay again.

The staff at this Residence Inn were super nice and we'd go back any day. The building and facilities were good, just like all other Residence Inns we have visited. But the front desk staff was fantastic!

Room was like a mini Condo with a full kitchen. Free parking, The Wednesday night mixer was great fun with free pizza and beer. Friendly staff and a great breakfast every morning. Just off of Speer street which is a boulevard into downtown. It is also just off of HWY 25.

Room tip: Avoid rooms around the big BBQ pits outside. some people stay up late and talk loud out there.
