“Don't trust the web site”

Everything looks great on the web site, but do yourself a favor and CALL ahead to see if the renovations are finished. Major work being done throughout the facility during the week of 4-9 March 2012. The SPA was out of order for the entire week complete wings were "closed" and the entire facility carried the smell of paint, wallpaper glue and carpet glue. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, shuttle driver very courtious as well as prompt, and besides the normal waffle's, cereal, and muffins thay had fresh biscuits with homemade gravy and even a fresh pot of hot oatmeal for breakfast every morning...

Room Tip: Go for a 3rd floor room, or be prepared to get bounced out of bed when the person above you turns th...

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Please accept my sincerest apologies for your poor experience. We are now done with the vast majority of the renovation- especially the items that impact guests from a sound and smell perspective. The renovation should have been noted clearly on the Marriott.com website. Again, my sincerest apologies if this was not apparent. Thank you for the rest of your kind comments. I hope that you will give us another chance if you return to the Denver area again.

Stayed here at the end of a business trip so we'd be close to the airport. As others have commented, the renovation takes a bit of the 'Marriott' atmosphere away---the lobby/check-in area was being worked on when we arrived. Not so inviting, but then again, how nice that they're updating the place.

Rooms are nice--nothing special, but clean and comfortable. We were surprised to see a microwave and a mini-frig in the room--nice to have, though I didn't use them.

There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance--Ruby Tuesday and DiCico's (Italian Opera House themed--nice atmosphere and good food!). We heard there was a restaurant in one of the hotels across the street, too--casual dining.

They offer free shuttle service to the airport--sign up ahead of time to reserve a seat. Took 10-15 minutes by the time all the drops were made for the various airlines.

Breakfast in the morning was OK--hot food wasn't very hot, but then again, it was free. Cereal, oatmeal, bagels/toast, yogurt were available, too.

Overall, an OK stay--certainly nothing wrong. I might be tempted to try the Courtyard or the Springhill Suites (currently under construction) the next time I come out here, but wouldn't be opposed to staying here, either.

Once the renovation is complete, it will be much better. Try to stay in one of the new rooms. They're quite nice.

The hotel is being renovated. That is OK and they lowered their prices.
However - my room had trash in the trash can, someone's dirty towel.
And it had snowed - but the walkway and the driveway at the reception area had not been cleared properly.

The staff were friendly and coping - but clearly their standards slipped in light of the renovation.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We are almost completely done with renovation and have completed all of the items that have substantial guest impact or could cause noise. Please accept my sincerest apologies for your poor experience. We have recently upgraded all of our internet service to provide the best possible internet in the area. With the upgrade to the internet and the 4 million dollar renovation that is now almost complete, I hope that you will give us another chance to serve you if you are in the area.

I am giving the hotel a lot of latitude because they were in a construction phase. However, I had three problems that are not acceptable.
1) Physical security was poor. I like to lock my door so that a hotel blunder does not result in a guest waling in on me in the middle of the night. I have been in that situation and so I am cautious.
2) Two of the surrounding hotels had a better signal for WiFi than the one I was in. Very poor for doing business on the road.
3) There was a middle of the night commotion that woke me from a sound sleep. I then had a hard time getting back to sleep because the customer next door sounded like an intermittent gas engine. Very poor wall insulation quality.
Again, I have overlooked the dust and construction inconvenience that was also going on. I would not stay here if I wanted to be productive the next day.

I stayed here for a night after flying into Denver. They have free shuttles to/from the airport. The hotel was clean and recently updated. I thought the rooms were bright and welcoming. The free breakfast was a good way to save some money. For the price I paid, I would stay here again.

The hotel was ok. It's close to the airport which is convenient for obvious reasons. Check-in was fast. Breakfast is pretty basic. Room was clean although it would benefit from a little makeover. Price was reasonable (~$100US).
