We ate at Beatrice and Woodsley as a family group on a recent Friday night. They only take reservations for groups of a minimum size. They are located in an area that seems to have mostly bars and to find a fine restaurant there is surprising. The restaurant's decor is most eclectic with full size tree trunks in the room and other unusual touches. The menu was creative with lots of local fresh ingredients. Most items were well prepared though my haddock special was a bit too dry. The wine list was very good but with commensurate prices. Food prices, not including wine, were reasonable. Service was excellent with the exception that the table next to ours was boisterous and very noisy. The restaurant was not full and we should have asked to be moved. One last note is that they have a quite unusual bathroom arrangement. Beatrice and Woodsley appears to be noted for their brunch and that would be worth another trip.
